We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2023, at the age of 81, Ellis Lamar of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Lamar and Vertie Lindsey Lamar Leach; his siblings, Wendell Lamar and Norma Jean Potter; and his grandson Zachery Tinsley.
He is survived by: his wife Allene Lamar of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; his sons, Ellis "Paul" Lamar (Dorothy) of McHenry, Laymon "Wayne" Lamar (Melissa) of Butler, Jeffrey Shun Lamar of Beaver Dam and Michael Don Lamar of Beaver Dam; his stepchildren, Veronica Tinsley (Tony) of Beaver Dam, Willis Burden (Alisa) of Beaver Dam and Scotty Burden (Melissa) of Beaver Dam; his sisters, Hazel Sinclair of Beaver Dam and Jewell Hudson (Charles) of Beaver Dam; and his sister-in-law Carol Lamar. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews, and a host of friends.
