She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. Oldham and Bertha E. Nettleton Oldham; her husband Charles Tim Barnes; her stepson George A Barnes; her stepson-in-law Bruce King; her great grandchild Jared Hamilton; and her siblings, Lucile Plowman, Hazel Jackson, Esther Oldham, Estill Oldham and Talbert Oldham.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Kittye King of Beaver Dam; her stepdaughter-in-law Johnnie Barnes of Huntsville, AL.; her great grandchildren, Emily Hamilton, Caroline Quinn, Wesley Hamilton, Katherine Keith, Megan Quinn, Lauren Keith, Sophie Daley, Erin Keith and Eli Mae Daley; her sister Marie Hofmeister; and her niece Linda Robinson (Ralph) of Parker, CO. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, gifts of sympathy can be made to Beaver Dam Baptist Church.
