It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth McKown (Beaver Dam, Kentucky), born in Carterville, Illinois, who passed away on January 29, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George William and Bessie June Halstead Thetford; her spouse Robert Leon Patrick; her son Michael Leon Patrick; her sister Rosemary Greer; and her niece Beth Wiskamp.

She is survived by: her sons, David Patrick (Karyn) of Edgerton, Mike McKown (Pat) of Beaver Dam, John McKown Jr. (Nina) of Westerville and Kevin McKown (Carol) of Somerset, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Melissa Patrick, Colleen Williams, Robert Patrick, Susan Armstrong, Ben McKown, Sam McKown, Josh McKown, Krista Lidala, Jacob McKown, Brandon McKown and Amanda Bruley; her brother Tom Thetford of Anna, Illinois; her brother-in-law Freeman "Doc" Greer of Red Bud, Illinois; and her niece Jane Peiffer of Prairie. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
