He is survived by: his children, Christopher Southard of Tell City, Indiana and Annette Southard of Somerset, Kentucky; his grandson Jacob West; and his siblings, Jerry Southard, Judy Southard Warner, Sandy Nelson, Linda Haynes and Vickie Nelson.
