He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Lee Phelps and Shirley Ann Clark Humphrey; his brother Darrell Ray Phelps; and his nephew James Lee Phelps. He is survived by: his siblings, Jerry Lee Phelps (Carol) of Jerome, Tommy Phelps of Beaver Dam, Angela Phelps of Tarra Haute and James Phelps (Rebecca) of Beaver Dam.
