She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Straub and Margaret Bell (Straub); her daughter Debra Ann; and her parents-in-law, Harold and Louise Sumner of Elberfeld, Indiana..
She is survived by: her husband Jerry W. Sumner; her daughters, Becky Funk (David) of Hartford, KY and Jean Wright (Randall West) of Mt. Juliet, TN; her grandchildren, Amy Reed (Brandon), Cody Funk (Miranda), Lea Brown (Eric) and Sara Thompson (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Savannah Buckner, Alexis Buckner, Holly Funk, Brooklyn Reed, Reisz Thompson, Jerry Brown, Henry Brown and Baby Thompson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to St Jude.
