She was predeceased by: her parents, Noble Johnson and Dessie Johnson; her siblings, Victor Johnson, Durl Johnson, Ricky Johnson, Gaynell Johnson Morris and Mary Johnson Reddish; her former husband James N. Embry; and her great grandchildren, Clayton Embry, Isaiah West and Adley Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald "Ivan" Hillard; her siblings, Monia Johnson Moore, Vernece Johnson Trail and Burl Johnson; her children, James "Eddie" Embry, Teresa Embry Tichenor and Angela Embry; her stepdaughters, Kathy Embry and Patty Embry Goodman; and also Jordan. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
