She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenny Gilliam and Viola Gilliam (Runyon); her husband Truman Maynard; her son James Russell Maynard; and her brothers, Foster Gilliam and Carl Gilliam.
She is survived by: her children, Truman Maynard Jr. of Inez, Roger Dale Maynard of Louisa, Carolyn Sweeney (Randall) of Beauty, Connie Maynard of Inez, Betty Fletcher (Gary) of Inez and Sharon Maynard (Paul) of Union Town; and her close friend Louella Mollett of Beauty. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
