She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin Herald and Dosha Howard Witt; her daughter Theresa Spring; her brother William Witt; and her great grandchild Isabella Napier.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Edward Gross of Beattyville; her daughters, Kathy G. Hensley of Wooton and Mitzi North of Staten Island; her grandchildren, Cheyanna Rice (Richard) of Hyden, Kentucky and Lonnie Shane Napier of Hyden, Kentucky; and her siblings, Kenneth Witt of Hyden and Gladys Prater of Ohio. She is also survived by great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
