He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Spencer and Naomi Spencer; his sons, Lofty and Anthony; his siblings, Wilgus, Kenneth, Roy, Willard, Mary Magdaline and Izola; and his grandson Draven Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Carol Deaton Spencer of Beattyville; his children, Steve Bowman of Beattyville, Mark Bowman of Georgetown, Wallace Bowman of Beattyville and Diana Spencer of Beattyville; his adoptive daughter Brianna Bowman of Booneville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Tyler, Stephanie, Chase, Mark Bowman, Kayla West, Hailey Childers, Brandon and McKenzie Bowman; his siblings, Dana Cundiff of Beattyville and Russell Spencer of Georgetown; his close friend Jalia McIntosh of Beattyville; and his child Attn. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
