He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Shuler and Jane Shuler (Holloway); his wife Arvetta Shuler (Spencer); and his brothers, Ed, Lloyd, Floyd, Amel, Harry and Bill Shuler.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Shuler (Stephanie), Tim Shuler, Josh Shuler of Beattyville, KY, Ethan Shuler of Richmond, KY, Sheila Shuler of LaGrange, KY, Missy Henry (Tony) of Winchester, KY and Chatty Shuler of Lee County, KY; his siblings, Dooley Shuler of Beattyville, KY and Betty Fay Shuler of Beattyville, KY; and his granddaughter Mackenzie Wilder. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
