He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Thorpe and Cora Thorpe. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Hall, Tammy Thorpe and Jennie Pritchard (Buddy); his grandson Brandon Thorpe; his great grandchild Casper Thorpe; his sister Reta Gabbard; his stepsons, Ricky Angel (Cindy) and Tim Angel (Tammy); and his nephew Mike Thorpe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
