He was predeceased by: his father Acie Reece; and his siblings, Stanley Reece, Don Reece, Christine Faulkner, Norma Jean Hoskins, Emanuel Reece and Juanita Hoskins.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Reece; his children, Diana Nightingale (Mark) and James Robert Reece (Sharon); his grandchildren, Shrya Nightingale, Hunter Nightingale and Samuel Ritchie (Cynthia); his great grandchildren, Brayleen Ritchie, Makenna Ritchie and Natalie Ritchie; and his sister Audrey Bloodworth.
