He was predeceased by: his father Howell Brandenburg; and his brother-in-law Rudy Joe Tipton. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lou Riley Brandenburg of Beattyville; his mother Betty Coomer Brandenburg of Beattyville; his children, Miranda Lashay Akers (Brandon) of Beattyville and Kevin Ray Riley of Lexington, Kentucky; his granddaughter Shayla Raye Akers of Beattyville; his sister Joyce Tipton of Beattyville; and his close friend Tony Jones of Beattyville. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
