He is survived by: his wife Nancy Helen Hughes Brewer of Beattyville; his children, Sally Johnson (Darwin) of Floyds Knobs, John Benton of Beattyville, Clarence Carson of Lexington, Kimberly Ann of Beattyville, Rebecca Strohacker (Donnie) of Winchester and Victoria Barrett (Chris) of Winchester; his grandchildren, Kyle, Nicholas Johnson of Floyds Knobs, Tessica Patrick (Raymond) of Richmond, Christopher Brewer (Sarah) of Beattyville, Stephen, David Brewer of Lexington, Jennifer Shackelford (Steven) of Beattyville, Ashley Strohacker (Jack Combs) of Richmond, Christie Strohacker (Scott Daugherty) of Richmond, Chris Barrett, Jr. (Rachel) of Winchester and Hunter Barrett of Winchester; and his brother Gary Patrick. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
