He is survived by: his stepmother Goldie Cornett; his wife Phyllis Brown Cornett of Burnside, Kentucky; his son John Cornett (Carrie) of Beattyville; his stepdaughters, Teresa Thomas (Garett) of Beattyville and Gina Bean (Jon) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Cara Cornett Stamper, Maleah Thomas McIntosh, Emily Land Gross, Natalie Land Lainhart, Adam Thomas, Aaron Thomas, Hallie Land, Morgan Bean and Samantha Bean; and his great grandchildren, Levi, Branson, Larkon, Kelton Stamper, Blue, Sunny Lainhart, Henry Gross, Adalynn, Lyla Jane Thomas, Miles McIntosh, Harleigh, Ian and Elliana Bean.
