She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Johnson and Alta Johnson (Turner); her husband William D. Steele; and her siblings, Walter, Daniel, James, Cecil Johnson, Rosa Sargent and Minnie Pearl Estes.
She is survived by: her stepson Michael Brandenburg (Virginia) of Beattyville, KY; her children, Shelby Steele (Sharon) of Beattyville, KY, Kenneth Steele (Rose) of Ravenna, KY, Darrell Steele (Phyllis) of Beattyville, KY, Marilyn Todd (Johnny) of Beattyville, KY and Peggy Moody (Richard) of Beattyville, KY; and her siblings, Charlie Johnson (Janice) of Beattyville, KY, Ethel Belcher of Winchester, KY, Gladys Estes (Sam) of Stanton, KY and Visie Dean (Ernie) of Booneville, KY. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren along with many other loving family members and friends.
