He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Cope and Ruth Patsy Creager Cope. He is survived by: his wife Margo Stamper Cope of Lexington; his stepchildren, Deborah Priet and Michael Martinez; his granddaughters, Elicia Priet, Rachel, Angel Wright and Michaela Martinez; his great grandchild Abby Burton; and his sister Linda Seacrest of Berrien Springs, Michigan. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
