He is survived by: his wife Ellen Davis Johnson of Beattyville; his mother Louarine Johnson of Clay City; his children, April Ross (Allen) of Erlanger, Eric Johnson (Joyce Shepherd) of Clay City and Jason Johnson (Pam) of Stanton; and his siblings, Jinnie Collins (Roger) of Stanton, Evalee Hollon (Alvin) of Stanton, Christine White (JD) of Jackson, AC Johnson (Carol) of West Virginia and Carl Johnson (Stella) of Beattyville. He is also survived by Nine Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Other Relatives.
