With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ava Carpenter of Beattyville, Kentucky, born in Jackson, Kentucky, who passed away on January 2, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ishmael Childers and Lillian Childers (Trent); her sisters, Judy Moore of Gratis, OH and Darlene Combs (Steve) of Gratis, OH; her husband Robert Carpenter; her sons, Raymond Troy and Paul Michael Troy; and her brother Joe Childers.
She is survived by: her son Dustin Carpenter (Nickia) of Beattyville, KY; her daughter-in-law Janice Troy of Jackson, KY; her brothers, John Childers of Campbellsville, KY, Mike Childers of Gratis, OH and Jerry Childers (Stephany) of Hamilton, OH; her grandchildren, Tyler Troy, Ellie, Weston and Tatum Carpenter; and her great grandchild Jayden Troy. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other loving family members and friends.
