He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Newton and Beartie Newton; and his siblings, Hershel, Vernon, Rufus Jr., Paul Glenn Thacker and Ila Estes.
He is survived by: his children, Tresa Bowman (Robbie), Tiffany Ratliff (Jonathan) and Allen Thacker, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jordan Bowman (Tracey), Noah, Nicholas Bowman, Peri Thacker, Alethia, Persephone and Antigone Ratliff; and his siblings, Leona Thacker of Beattyville, Mable Kramp of Beattyville, Helen Morris of Beattyville, Lucy Barrett of Beattyville and Kenneth Thacker of Richmond, Indiana. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
