He is survived by: his wife Sandra Arnett Allen; his children, Travis Allen of Ashland, James Allen of Ashland, Jason Allen of Salyersville, Casey Bolen (Jamie) of Salyersville, Tracy Plummer (Ronald) of Salyersville and Santana Russell (Jeremy) of Salyersville; and his siblings, Chester Allen of Salyersville, Ward "Etsie" Allen of Winamac, Chris Allen of Salyersville, Alvin "Hoss" Allen of Winamac, Stoney "Hut" Allen of Salyersville, Belva Chambers of North Judson and Brenda Crace of Paintsville. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a host of family and friends.
