He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Michael and Eula Mae Ashe Soublo; and his brother David Lee Soublo. He is survived by: his significant other Sheila Garrett of Baxter; his son Dennis Garrett (Sabrina) of Nolansburg; his grandchildren, Lainey and Mason Garrett of Nolansburg; his siblings, Lloyd Michael Soublo (Amnoy) of Kernnerville, NC, William Oscar Soublo (Mabel) of Abingdon, VA, Terry Lynn Soublo of Harlan, Julia Ann Soublo (Julie) of Baxter and Danny Soublo (Lisa) of Cawood; and his siblings-in-law, Sherry Patterson of Cleveland, TN, Pam Hostuttler of Putney and Allen Thomas of Oneida, TN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 12:20 PM at the Anderson Laws and Jones Funeral Home (114 S 3rd St, Harlan, KY 40831). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Resthaven Cemetery (3000 State Hwy 840, Baxter, KY 40806).
