Larry D. Gilbert Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry D. Gilbert Sr. of Baxter, Kentucky, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on May 23, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita Gilbert (Southerland); his daughter-in-law Denise Gilbert (Parmer); his parents, Raymond Gilbert and Edith Gilbert; his parents-in-law, Luther and Amanda Southerland; and his brothers, David Gilbert, Gordon Gilbert and Wayne Gilbert.
He is survived by: his son Dale Gilbert; his granddaughter Alisha Farlee; his great grandchild Bryce Farlee; and his brother-in-law Beckham Southerland (Gloria). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial will be held, and the family asks in lieu of flowers please donate to a Humane Society or some other worthy cause in memory of Larry.
