He was predeceased by: his son James Russell Turner. He is survived by: his wife Violet Turner; his children, Jennifer Young, Husband Eddie of Cumberland, Deborah Reeder, Husband Joshua of Loyall, Cody Saylor, Husband Tyler of Bledsoe, Elvia Turner of Baxter and Sarah Turner of Baxter; his grandchildren, Brittney Creech, Jaxton Reeder, Courtney Turner, Autumn Reeder and James Bailey; his great grandchild Tillian Creech; and his siblings, Johnny Turner of Linefork, J. C, Roger Turner of Baxter, Jimmy Turner of Harlan, Polly Asbury of Tennessee, Iva Boggs of Big Laurel, Lisa Vickery and Husband Ray of Big Laurel.
In Lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to help with funeral expenses.
