He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitt McCoy and Bessie Walker McCoy; his sons, Andrew Vernon McCoy and James D. McCoy; and his children-in-law, Brenda McCoy, Bernhard Gonzalez and Jack Cudahy.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Dolson of Michigan, Linda Ward (Charles) of Michigan, Audna Cudahy of Michigan, Theresa Gongalez and Baxter; his former wife Ethelene Hensley McCoy; and his sister Daisy. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
