He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Joan Lee Slusher; his parents, William Slusher and Rosa Nantz Slusher; and his siblings, Alta Warren, Vernice Bidstrup, Sue Walsh, Gladys Miniard, Martha Smith, Willard Slusher, Oscar Whitehead and Ira Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
