He was predeceased by: his parents, George D. Howard Sr. and Rosa Lea Mowery Howard; and his siblings, Ralph Howard, John Dudley Howard, Allan Howard, Inez Howard Rowlett and Peggy Howard Richardson.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie; his daughter Ashley Brooke Lemar; his grandchildren, Addison of Harlan, Ryder of Harlan and Isabella Lemar of Harlan; and his sisters, Delores Hickey of Harlan and Norma Howard of Dallas, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
