He is survived by: his wife Louise Broughton Baxter; his daughter Mae Simpson (Danny); his grandchildren, Kristy Blanton (Tim) of Harlan, Courtney Broughton of London, Deborah Broughton, DJ Simpson (Cassie) of Harlan, Ali Broughton of Harlan and Brittney Massey (Marquise) of Louisville; and his great grandchildren, Austin Blanton, Allie Blanton of Harlan, Zanier Massey, Serenitee Massey, Daizee Whittaker, Sam Allaway, Johnny Couch and Bella Witt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
