It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Verda Hamilton of Battletown, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 96, on January 12, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Bennett and Eunice Padgett Bennett; her husband Ernest Allen Hamilton; her sons, Joe Mac Hamilton and David "Ham" Hamilton; and her siblings, Cecil Bennett, Kenneth Bennett and Glenda Counterman.

She is survived by: her sister Doris Mangin; her daughter Barbara Dee Moore; her daughter-in-law Kay Hamilton; her grandchildren, Brian Joseph Hamilton, Sarah Kay Dukes, Lucas Hamilton Moore and Zane Allen Moore; and her great grandchildren, Clinton Browning Hamilton, Levi Forrest Hamilton, Samuel Jewell Hamilton, Cadence Rebecca Dukes, Zackery Cole Moore, Gunner Allen Moore and Rock Wyatt Moore. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to the terrible toll the pandemic has taken on our family it is our desire to remain safe and protect the safety of our friends.
