He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Carline and Nora Margaret Wimpee (Harrison); his son Jeff Wimpee; his brothers, Carl and Larry Wimpee; and his brother-in-law George Weick.
He is survived by: his grandson Tucker Wimpee; his wife Nita Weick Wimpee; his children, Tommy Wimpee (Marla), Stephanie Wimpee (Jack Yates), Victoria Lewis (Tom), Phillip Wimpee (Mona), Shannon Rothrock (Michael), Razzy Wimpee and Nick Wimpee; his siblings, Gayle Newton, Donetta Darrough, Kay Wimpee, Richard and Kevin Wimpee; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Weick. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
