He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita; his parents, Gabriel M. Batts and Bernice Berry Batts; and his brother Bryant Batts. He is survived by: his children, Daniel H. Batts and Sharon E. Wetzel; his grandchildren, Sherry L. Corson, Ricky L. and Gregory A. Grant; his great grandchildren, Cody A., Autumn R. Grant, Sara L. Brownlee and Charlie A. Corson V; and his great great grandchildren, Isabella L. Brownlee and Adalyn Rose Martin.
