He was predeceased by: his son Corey Mattingly; his father Francis Mattingly; his grandson Brycen Howard; and his great grandchild Jaden Naputi. He is survived by: his children, Brandy Henderson (Dave), Chris Mattingly (April), Laura Mattingly, Stephanie Wardrip (John), Stacie Mattingly, Jennifer Howard (Steven) and Amy Allen (Marcus); his mother Martha Mattingly; and his siblings, Frankie Mattingly, Philip Mattingly, Mary Lou Thomas, Elaine Dowell and Becky Reichmuth.
