He was predeceased by: his parents, W. T. Colson and Faye Colson (Deason); and his sister Sudie Colson Holdman. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Lee Colson; his children, Larry Colson (Baretta) and Crystal Joyce Swinford (Timmy); his grandchildren, Colson Swinford, Lance Colson, Conner Swinford, Luke Colson and Rayna Colson; his brother Terry Colson; and his daughter Jessica Colson Owsley.
