He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl A. Shepherd and Vivian Dowdy Shepherd; his wife Shari Shepherd; and his siblings, Bud Shepherd, Edward Shepherd, Shirley Keith and Joyce House.
He is survived by: his children, Cliff Shepherd (Sylvia), Brian Shepherd of Barlow, KY, Beth Morgan of Charlotte and Colleen (Richard) of Marble Hill, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Craig Shepherd, Emily Warren, Jessica Hogue, Savanna Shepherd, Michelle Seabaugh and April Niswonger. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
