He was predeceased by: his father James Monroe; and his sister Marilyn Stinson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Biggs Byassee of Bardwell; and his brothers, Michael Byassee (Cathy) of Bardwell and Jerry Byassee (Susan) of Gilbertsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
