She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Murtaugh and Marie Roche Murtaugh; her sons, Leroy Rider, III and Thomas John Rider; and her siblings, Dorothy Jess, Thomas Murtaugh and Ray Murtaugh.
She is survived by: her husband Lester Leroy Rider; and her children, Patricia Zitzka of Chicago, Treasa Strance of Michigan and Edward Allen Rider of Bardwell, Kentucky. She is also survived by ten grandchildren.
