He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Elizabeth Sparkman Boatwright. He is survived by: his friend JB; his brother Dr. George William Boatwright; his sister-in-law Dr. Nancy J. Newman of Louisville, Kentucky; his nieces, Mary Boatwright (Dillin Chambless) of Piedmont and Madeline Boatwright of Boulder, Colorado; his nephew Lucas Boatwright (Laura Vega) of Blacksburg, Virginia; and his great-niece Eleanor Louise Chambless of Piedmont. He is also survived by cousins and numerous friends.
