He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hayden and Zada Hayden; his son Gerard Hayden; his siblings, Joyce Ann Hayden, Laura Belle Toon, Bert Hayden and Clifton Hayden; and his grandson Craig Hobbs.
He is survived by: his wife LaVella Hayden; his children, Maria Hayden (Bill Betz) and Scott Hayden (Jennifer); and his sisters, Dorothy Elliott and Eva Lou Toon.
