She was predeceased by: her parents, Flora Washburn and Walter Washington-Lee Cope; her husband Woodrow W. Owens; her son Mitchell Owens; her grandsons, Ty Black and Aaron Owens; and her siblings, Jimmie L. Cope, Shirley Ann Phillips and Sarah Mae Phelps.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Owens (Charlotte), Ginger Goode and Sherry Faircloth (Ronnie); her daughter-in-law Janie Owens; and her grandchildren, Roy Black, Ginnifer Barber, Dustin Goode, Brandi Cannon, Bobby Owens and Brad Copeland. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
