He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jane Greenwell; his parents, Francis "Buddy" Greenwell and Hester Greenwell; and his brothers, Ron Greenwell, Mickey Greenwell and Billy Keith Greenwell.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Greenwell (Natalie Collins) of Manassas, Michael Greenwell (Angela O'Bryan) of Bardstown and Veronica Greenwell (Dan Eaton) of Bardstown; his grandchildren, Vivian Greenwell, Colin Greenwell, Eleanor Greenwell, Derrick Greenwell and Gloria Greenwell; and his sister Joanne Johnson of Bardstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
