She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Farris W. Clifton; her son Edgar Dwayne Clifton; and her brothers, Carson Porter of Brunswick, GA and Wyman Porter of Shelbyville, KY. She is survived by: her son Dr. David Clifton (Kim) of New Albany, IN; her grandchildren, Nicholas Clifton (Megan) and Sara Clifton (Samantha Greenberg); her great grandchildren, William, Jude and Elizabeth; her niece Susan McIntire of Blakely, GA; and her nephews, Carson Page Porter of Potomac Falls, VA and Scott Porter of Louisville, KY..
