It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Wathen Abell of Bardstown, Kentucky, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Abell and Fanny Brown Abell; his parents-in-law, Leo and Annie Laurie Hagan; and his siblings-in-law, Bernard Hagan of Louisville, KY and Betty Turner Abell.
He is survived by: his extended family Out-Law'; his wife Sheila Hagan Abell; his children, Eric Wathen Abell of Denver, CO and Laurie Rebecca Abell (Justin) of Denver, CO; his siblings, James "Jim" Edwin, Jr. (Leah) of New Bern, NC, George (Judy) of Claremont, CA, J. Patrick (Teresa) of Frankfort, KY, Rebecca of Louisville, KY, Beth McClean (Bob) of Middletown, KY and Joe (Laura Lee) of Franklin Township, OH.; and also, Problem Solver, Hiking Buddy and Friend. He is also survived by his in-laws.
