It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Frances Lawrence of Bardstown, Kentucky, born in Taylorsville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Hillard and Mary Hillard (Young); and her siblings, Elizabeth Golden and Eddie Hillard Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Rodney Lawrence of Louisville, Ronald Lawrence of Mount Washington, Roger Lawrence of Cox's Creek, Royce Lawrence (Deloris) of Zoneton and Rosemary Brooks (Greg) of Sellersburg, Indiana.; and her pet Yoda. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.

“Our sincere condolences on the recent passing of Frances. On many occasions she and I chatted while she was sitting out on her front porch, and I was on my daily walk in her subdivision. We both had Chihuahuas and quite often Yoda or his predecessor would be sitting next to her on the porch. and it was obvious they were devoted to each other. If Yoda will need to be rehomed, he is welcome to join our family. Once again, our condolences for your family's loss. George and Mary Anne Brown”
