She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Marion "Turtle" Downs; her children, Denise Ebersold and Richard Downs; her parents, David Clint and Catherine I. Williams Douglas; her siblings, Melvin, Vernie Douglas and Mary Helena Culver; and her son-in-law Richie Kays.
She is survived by: her children, David Downs (Cheryl), Karen Taylor (Mike), Susan Ratliff, Laura Durbin (Todd), Carlene Downs (Bryan) and Tonya Kays; her grandchildren, Alex Ratliff, Bradley Taylor, Amber Downs, Jennifer Lewis, Scott Durbin, Ashley Ratliff, Clint Taylor, Jason Durbin, Sydney Downs and Piper Newton; and her siblings, Joyce Downs, Marlene Marshall (Lewis), Charlene Leslie, Elzie Douglas and Larry Douglas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
