He is survived by: his wife Sue Parkerson Payton; his daughters, Chrystal Ferguson (Curtis) of Bardstown and Tammy Brown (Kyle) of Bardstown; and his siblings, Lana Gayle Payton, Pam Hill of Bardstown, Charles Payton (Erika) of Grayson Kentucky and Ricky Payton (Vicki) of Bardstown. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
