He is survived by: his close friend Edith Rice of Bardstown; his brothers, Tom Borders (Hope) of Texas and Tim Borders of Texas; his sister-in-law Jennifer Giles-Borders; his sisters, Patty Ritchie (Frank) of Bardstown and Anna Smith (Bruce) of Minnesota; and his uncle Buddy Janes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
