He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Preston and Lucille Boone Hagan; his former wife Sue Beeler Hagan; and his brother Jim Hagan. He is survived by: his wife Julia Spalding Hagan; his children, Sue Greenwell (Clarence) of Bardstown, Stephen Hagan (Barbara) of New Hope and Karen Doerschuk (John) of Alpharetta, GA; his grandchildren, Clay Greenwell (Yadel) of Lexington, Jakob Greenwell of Lexington, Barrett Greenwell of Manhatten, Ethan Doerschuk of Alpharetta, GA and Kaitlynn Doerschuk of Albharetta, GA; his great grandchild Isabel Marie Greenwell of Lexington; and his siblings, Albert Hagan (Fritzi), Mary White, Patsy Cooper (Charlie), Peggy Sohan (Jim) and Cathy Fister (Phil). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
