He was predeceased by: his former wife Juanita "June" Parrott; his wife Ethel Harrell Parrott; his daughter Shelly Parrott Arnold; his parents, James Parrott and Lillie Parrott; and his siblings, Elmer "Jake" Parrott and Zelma "Toolie" Cecil.
He is survived by: his close friend Juanita Collins Parrott; his granddaughter April Marie Arnold Cortez; his great grandchildren, Clayton Arnold and BrooklynArabella Arnold; and his son-in-law Rick Arnold of Bardstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
