John Edgar Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2023, at the age of 87, John Edgar Smith of Bardstown, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kendrick "Reuben" and Anna Belle Medley Smith; and his siblings, Wilbie Jean Corbett, Bernice Ballard, Ada Jane Hamilton, Barbara Ann Fogle, Aaron, Juddie, Earl and Louis Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Mattingly Smith; and his children, Pam Filiatreau (Chris) of Bardstown, Danna Dones (David) of Bardstown and Thomas Smith (Shandra) of Bardstown. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Memorials may go toward Saint Joseph Bereavement Fund c/o the church.
